White doves against a dark sky

We've just had a short sudden intense cloudburst, through which some patches of blue sky could still be seen. It's now passed, and some birds are now flying across the town in the distance.

We're on the edge anyway with the valley and the trees, so additional atmospheric problems just cause it to go *splot*.
