I'm currently farming Netherwing reputation. I reckon I have it fairly optimised: I can do the 8 daily quests in under an hour, which nets me 3400 reputation.

And this morning, when I wandered into the mine, I picked up 6 eggs, for a total of 2100 additional rep.

So it's possible to get 5500 rep in the hour, if I get lucky (it helps if I wander in right after the reset, when none of the eggs need to respawn).

So, tomorrow I should reach exalted with them, and that gives me another mount, and then I can concentrate on the Skyguards (with whom I need about 10,000 more, but that gives me another 6 mounts, and anyway, it's rather charming hearing all those fly guys making nice comments when I wander past).

And I need to farm the Frenzyhearts as well.

A quick gripe on that, BTW: one of the achievements (or sets thereof) is to 'raise reputation with x factions to exalted'. The operative word is 'raise', not 'have'. But the actual mechanics is 'have'. If you lose exalted status with a faction, your count does actually go down, much to my annoyance, since I used to have Oracle exalted status.

Netherwing should get you six mounts, if you're a collector. The first one is free, but you can buy the other colours for 200g each back on netherwing ledge.

Ah! Now that's useful to know.

(Right now - 19125 of 21000, with 1000 rep points left of dailies today. If I can complete the last two races (thereby getting another 1500), I could be exalted tonight. If I still can't beat Mulverik, then I'll have to find three more eggs instead. Or wait till tomorrow.)

I found lots of eggs initially, but soon got competition and my rate dropped. And then I stopped.

It really depends. This morning, no-one else had yet been into the mines since the reset, so I found 6. A couple of other times, I've found none at all, but looted some from mobs.

And I've found at least two using herbalism on the netherdust bushes!

At 350 rep each, they're quite a bonus to rep farming.

I would have assumed these days the eggs were very easy to get, unless there's a whole bunch of people farming them on your server?

And the way to win the races is to roll a druid, ofc. :)

I see a few others around Netherwing on occasion, but it's not being farmed heavily. What I'm not sure of is what the respawn time for the eggs is: presumably it takes a reasonable time, since most times I only find one or two just sitting around when I first go in.

As for the races, yes, I've not yet managed to remount in time after being shot down to resume the race. I'm going for the alternative: not being dismounted in the first place. (With haste on, I can fly outside on the bends and not get left behind.)

Earthen Ring - and yes, I departed Silvermoon a long time back, since it was way too crowded at the time.

We're still on Silvermoon - no queues, but 97% alliance ;). Wraiths & Strays on horde side moved to Nordrassil earlier this year.

My partner play LotRO on an RP server with a 25+ guild (The Silent Minority) and has been loving it for years now. Sounds like theres a distinct lack of kiddies there after the 'fad players' have moved on (not that I play MMOs myself).

There are a number of tossers in EVE (one of the biggest factions is *built* for them) but I know a lot of adult players who like it.
