Scammer alert

I just had an unsolicited call from a number purporting to be a company named Lifestyle Money.

Now, my suspicions are always raised by a commercial entity that decides that it won't bother complying with UK law - to my mind, the moment they start that, I'm going to consider any chance that they might not be criminally minded to be pretty low.

The guy was pretty insulted that I didn't trust him immediately.

Oh poor baby.

There are some of these people for whom the use of a referee's whistle kept by the telephone is the appropriate response. They know they're breaking the law. They know they're scammers. May they contact anthrax and die, slowly and horribly.

I have a 09 premium rate number which is diverted to my mobile. I use this when filling in all those annoying contact forms. I can could the number of times cold callers have called it on one hand.
