Newspaper names

The BBC News magazine has an article where people list their favourite weird names for newspapers, and many are fine examples of oddity.

I'm wondering what accident of the editorial process caused the inclusion of our local paper The Royston Crow, though.

Um, I may be missing something here, but I suspect that it's because it's a weird name for a newspaper?
