I did try hovering over it in Firefox this morning, but nothing happened.
Linkie seems to work fine from here though (IE), so now I've seen the story :-)

Actually, I've seen similar behaviour in Opera on a particular web comic, where the image is a link to a forum. Occasionally, the linkiness of the image isn't reflected by the mouse cursor.

It's a guy who owed someone rent. He didn't like the impertinance of them asking for money, so he took a JCB to their house, whilst they were in it.

He's been arrested for attempted murder.
