... whole air force at once.

Yes, I can tell that the Duxford May Air Show is this coming weekend. We've just had a flight of ten warbirds over. And then another four a few minutes later.

That's annoying, here in Jed we routinely have half of NATO flying over on a daily basis. I even saw a F117 once but it took me a second to realise what it was.

Think yourself luck they don't choose your car as a target to practice strafing drill, happened to me a few times, bloody nerve wracking.

BTDT - except in my case, it was an A-10 Warthog pilot who though a bunch of squaddies on exercise on Thetford training area would be fun to hunt. Happily, he lost us when we managed to duck into a forest.

As for the warbirds today, they were WWII fighters rather than anything more recent.
