Half our staff has already dashed off, I can see stationary traffic on the road from here, and unless it eases off, I'm walking home.

There's a blizzard here. Lucky you to live within walking distance. I don't know if I'll make my tai chi class tonight. it's only a mile away but it's all cross-country. Don't fancy getting stuck there.

OK, it's stopped now. And the traffic is now moving about right for this time of evening. So it looks like it'll be OK.
