Heaving cauldron of hot sex

Well, actually it's cold sex, and it's a pond rather than a cauldron. But every time I wander out into our garden and have a look in the pond, there's a bunch of frogs really getting into generating the next generation of tadpoles. It's not a huge pond, but there's ten or more of them in there, and they are all getting serious about it (to the extent that there are occasional lumps of three or even four clasped together)..

It's quite impressive considering that just 7 days ago, there was still ice on the surface and all the frogs were out of sight hibernating.
