Helsinki is an expensive city to try to find a hotel room in. It's just as well we're only thinking of staying three nights before moving on to Tallinn the other side of the Gulf of Finland.
(In Tallinn, we will be staying in what looks to be a charming place in the Old Town, a building actually in the old city walls, built on the foundations of a defensive tower. In Helsinki, we'll be in the SAS Radisson Old Fish Cannery.)
