The following account has just friended me: wikaeru.

A quick glance shows it to be one of the Russian 'friending' spammers.

"Severn Bridge closed, England cut off"

Roads: Both Severn Crossings were closed when ice began falling from the top of bridge structures onto cars and smashing windscreens.

Umm, yeah.

Here, a colleague coming in this morning got to within a mile of here before giving up, turning round and going home again. It's been alternating between snow and sleet, and was falling quite thickly at 9:00 (easily obscuring a car windscreen in 10 minutes flat), but is currently is falling as a light fine powder.
