Confusing street names

I've just looked at the map of Carpenterstown in Dublin.

Apparently the locals get a little confused as to which street is which. I don't know why - it's not as though anyone would have difficulty remembering the difference between Riverwood Road, Riverwood Court, Riverwood Copse, Riverwood Dene, Riverwood Chase, Riverwood Glebe, Riverwood Glen, Riverwood Drive, Riverwood Grove, Riverwood Park, Riverwood Gardens, Riverwood View, Riverwood Lawn, Riverwood Way, Riverwood Heath, Riverwood Crescent, Riverwood Place, Riverwood Dale and Riverwood Vale, and Riverwood Green.

Now, if one of those had been Riverworld instead, I could have understood.

I have been known to accidentally finish my address as 'Drive' instead of 'Grove'

And I LIVE there.

Riverworld would have been at least more interesting.

Sounds like my sister's subdivision in Albuquerque.

Is Cambridge much better? I mean, in Cherry Hinton you can get lost looking for "that exotic animal" amongst Gazelle Wy, Caribou Wy, Dolphin Cl, Eland Wy, Imapala Dr, Mandrill Cl, The Lynx, Lemur Dr, Fennec Close, Tamarin Gdns, Panther Wy, Buffalo Wy, Loris Ct ...

I have just looked at the map... someone has gone "all streets in this chunk shall be called [foo]" - there's cherry and bramley and sycamore and maple and and... shows a severe lack of imagination on the part of the planners.

I present you with Graan voor Visch in Hoofddorp in the Netherlands.

No, Graan voor Visch isn't the streetname, it's the name for the entire neighbourhood. After that, it's house numbers in sshhh-format (street/house).

I've always imagined people finding their way there:
A: Where do we need to be?

B: Graan voor Visch 18205.

A: Great, we're at number 1...
