OK, guys, perhaps someone can help me with the following.

I have a copy of Thunderbird running under Windows 7. I wish to pick up that installation with the mail database and transport it to a different machine.

How do I do so?

(With Forté Agent, I needed only to copy the directory and all data below it.)

ETA: OK, I think I've found where it keeps its data.

ETA: And done. Thanks for the MozBackup recommendations, peeps.

MozBackup should suit. Allows backup/restore very easily.

Right. Spare PSU and graphics card gone into old PC, now reassembled, about to unplug this and try that.
