The seasons turn

So here we are, Spring has sprung.

On the other hand, we had more springlike days last week than we have had this. I think the boundary between Winter and Spring is about as straightly delineated as the border between Belgium and the Netherlands. (Splitting the Low Countries into two nations along property lines was never going to be particularly neat - check Baarle-Nassau in Google Maps to see a border control officer's nightmare.)

The daffodils aren't out though.

# Spring is here, Spring is here...

Those borders are mad. I wonder if there's anywhere there where you can lay down and have at least three of your hands(2) and feet(2) in different exclaves...

I don't know about hands & feet, but there definitely are houses that cross the border. So there's a rule that the location of the front door determines which village & country the house's address is in (as the house is in both).

This is all fine & good, but there's a house with a bisected front door...

(the solution: two addresses! Loveren 2, Baarle-Hertog, Belgium and Loveren 19, Baarle-Nassau, The Netherlands)
