So there we were, last night, playing WoW, the guild doing various heroics.

And we were on the third in a row, when the game crashed. Badly. And when I say badly, it wasn't just our realm (Earthen Ring) that went down. No, it appears that our whole battlegroup went, whole banks of servers disappearing at the same time.

After a while, as we chatted on Ventrilo, we decided that there was a major problem that would probably take a while to recover, but we did note that there were other servers still up. So we all went off and created a guild full of Horde DKs on one of these other realms, one for new players. And started levelling them all together.

It appears, from the number of other DKs around, that we weren't the only ones with that idea. At the point where I got to the end of the DK starting sequence, I'd fallen out of sequence with the rest of the guild, but there was still the best part of a dozen players doing a quest that happens every 10 minutes.

I'm not quite sure what a guild comprising only DKs is going to do, but hey, it's a silly way to fill a couple of hours.

I'll probably use Evil Horde Korenwolf as my "testing tanking" toon in an environment where I can walk away :) it was a very silly few hours, doubly so for some of the names.

Well, Suoroma is currently down in Booty Bay admiring his fine new parrot. But getting back up to Orgrimmar is no problem - it's only flight time.

I've signed already, and to be honest, don't see myself playing there often anymore (barring major battlegroup crashes, which are -- thankfully -- rare).
