The definition of a Libertoonian - someone who screams 'Marxist censorship!' when the person who is paying for the server refuses to host his rants.

Why do they think everyone else owes them a living, and yet think they owe nobody else anything?

Baffling, isn't it?

It probably won't derail a comment thread if I repost their rant here:
I hope it is abundantly clear by now to readers of this blog that Mr. Stross and his literary comrades are first and foremost ideologues with a neo-Marxist political agenda, not artists. Charlie’s intolerance of dissent is reminiscent of a bolshevik commissar and is classic Orwellian lefto-fascism. Mr. Stross should spend some time in nations of the former Soviet Union as I have and talk to the people there -- they will give you the real story about where this monstrous ideology leads. Marxism is a disaster on every level, and has never produced a single work of art worth remembering -- and that includes the work of the SF-writing cadres of the New Marxist Isles.
The mind, she boggles!

Why, yes indeed, that was what I was thinking of. How did you guess?

(It might be minorly useful if the posting IP was visible to moderators. Not that I'd be anything but extremely surprised if it turned out that this was not indeed a sock puppet.)

I think that's past boggling, the mind boogie woogies.

I wish I knew. It drives me nuts.

The word you're looking for is 'entitlement'. It is something you are born with, together with blue eyes, blonde hair and the certainty that tomorrow belongs to you. A good sized trust fund doesn't go amiss either.

I suspect that this person is rather more of a failure than that. I think that he (she? I rather doubt it) is a bit of a failure in life, and thinks that that is because he's being dragged down by others, not realising that it's the fact he cannot cooperate with others that means he's a failure.
