This evening, we were at the Heffers SF&F Writers do in the Grafton Centre, Cambridge. There were quite a few writers there, and lots of books being sold and signed, or sometimes the other way round.

We bought quite a bit. One item we bought was called Time Pieces, which is a limited edition chapbook, (we have #34 of 500) signed by the authors. We bought it at least partly because someone we know was associated with its production, and yes, she is listed on the copyright page.

No, [livejournal.com profile] feorag, not you, though you are listed there too. No, half an inch further down, a certain Maggie Anderson, who was there this evening. She was also the person from whom [livejournal.com profile] bellinghwoman took over when starting work in her current job.

(It wasn't till I got home that I noticed Feorag's name.)

Coming out with the name Guy Gavriel Marquez.

I blame being in a bookshop where the books of Guy Gavrial Kay were physically closer than those of Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Oh, and being surrounded by SF and Fantasy writers, with not a Magical Realist in sight.
