You gotta love archaeologists.

"It is the richest - by that I mean the filthiest - site of this period known in Britain,"

Now why don't parents see it this way? Not cleanliness is next to godliness, but messiness is next to wealth.

Whoops, should have cancelled that

The postie left a delivery card yesterday. That's not a problem, of course, it just means I need to drop into the sorting office.

(Given that it is merely days before my birthday, I was wondering what it might be.)

I parked in my usual space in the car park at work, and walked to the sorting office building on one side.

Ah, OK. It's a tasting box from Hotel Chocolat. Who are on the other side of the car park, and whose entrance is actually slightly closer to the car than the sorting office's. Ah well.

I'd put a temporary stop on the tasting club, while on the diet. But it looks like the temporary stop has expired, so I'll need to reset it.

433 MHz follow-up

Yes, with batteries in the weather sensor, my car remote won't work properly.

With the sensor powered down, no problem. So there is a nasty clash on that frequency. We'll have to put the sensor elsewhere. But it's nice to know there isn't an electrical problem with the car.
