Following the announcement of Unicorn School™: The Sparkling and its first four followups by Hugo-award winning SF author Charles Stross, we are excited by the rumour that the sixth book in the franchise will be written by fellow Hugo award winner Peter Watts. In a heavily coded announcement on his blog, Watts appears to announce that he will be involved in producing Unicorn School™: The Squid, his own inimitable take on Paranormal Romance, one where the paranormal is from HP Lovecraft and the romance is Hentai, and in which he builds on his previous development of vampires as seen in his novel Blindsight.

Should this be confirmed, we're sure that all fans of the franchise will be delighted by the news.
