That both of those make sense (when the correct dialect is chosen) is somewhat boggling.

No dialect needed, just the two abbreviations :)
So what do yours mean?

The first is apparently Jysk for "I'm on the island in the stream".
The second is supposedly the Värmlander way of saying "On the island is a river, and in the river an island".

Run the second through a "from dialect" filter and you end up with "På ön är en å och i ån är en ö" (I suppose the substituted o might be better as an o-caret, whatever those are as HTML entities, but an å is close enough).
