bellinghmanWe went to a number of shows this year, and I decided to make a list for my future reference
Venues are:
ADC - ADC Theatre in Cambridge
Arts Theatre - Arts Theatre in Cambridge
Barbican - The Barbican Hall in London
Bloomsbury - The Bloomsbury Theatre in London
CHH - Cherry Hinton Hall in Cambridge
Cineworld - Cineworld Cinema in Cambridge
Corn Exchange - Cambridge Corn Exchange, larger than J1
IFC - The IFC Mall in Hong Kong
J1 - Junction 1 in Cambridge, the largest venue on that site
J2 - Junction 2 in Cambridge, the second largest venue on that site
Old Bull - The Old Bull Inn in Royston
Phoenix - the basement of the Phoenix in Cavendish Square, London
That's 53 separate days on which we've gone to see something, and only 6 of those weren't live entertainment of some form. Some performers we saw a lot (Mitch Benn, for example - he was at all but one of those Distraction Club events, and he was also in HHGTTG as well as that solo gig). We also bought quite a number of CDs of music from performers, or after having seen them. A good number were cases where we didn't really know what we were going to see - the Bad Shepherds for example, but also many of the acts at the Distraction Club and of course, we buy the Folk Festival tickets before we know what acts will be on.
