It took how long?
Feb. 6th, 2007 12:19 pmA while back, I was attempting to buy rail tickets for a trip back from Leukerbad in Switzerland, and noting the insane price quoted by Eurostar for part of the journey, compared to the price for the TGV-Lyrica seat to Paris.
The TGV tickets have finally arrived. The date on the covering letter is 8th January - over 4 weeks ago.
Common, guys, this isn't the US where they will stick mail on cross country trucks. It shouldn't take a letter 28 days to cover the distance from Brig to Royston, when I fully intend to do it* in 2% of that time using surface transport.
*OK, so I won't be coming back from Brig. But the TGV I will board will start there.
