Paper doesn't change
Feb. 12th, 2009 02:24 pmWell, of course, paper does change. But for those of us used to the evanescence and volatility of the intaweb, it can be amusing to see printed matter getting out of date.
In particular, I note two items in the latest issue of Vector.
1) The back cover ad for NewCon 5. Sadly, this event has been postponed, but the ad cheerily still lists its original date.
2) An actual web link to an article on
nhw's LJ ... which is now known as
nwhyte. Luckily, the old journal name still works, but at some stage, it will presumably get reused by someone else.
ETA: Since as
happydisciple points out, those two links are showing up the same, I should point out that the first one was entered (and is editable for me) as 'nhw'.
