Pity we didn't have that at Eastercon really. However a thing we did have was useful room safes, which are extremely useful if you've got a bulging cash box and a laptop you don't want to have with you in the evening.

Let's start smaller, shall we?
Decent food.
Reasonably-priced beverages.
Absence of standing water in the corridors.
Free wi-fi needs to be worked up to.

Free plug-in with cables in the room would be an acceptable alternative if necessary.

I stayed at the Glasgow City Inn for the Glasgow Worldcon. They had free Wifi, free Ethernet and DVD players in the room, with free DVD loans from the front desk.

We recently stayed in the Park Inn hotel in Dublin. Free wifi (just need to know the passwortd, which was either 'sleepwell' or 'eatwell'), and cd/dvd players in the rooms.

Given the choise of that, or staying in a Crowne Plaza or Paramount hotel with extortionate Swisscom charges, guess which I'll prefer.
