Michael managed to bring Ian Duncan Smith down, maybe he's trying to collect a few more scalps.

Date: 2006-01-28 11:59 am (UTC)Also true; however, after watching Blair's transformation once he got his grubby mitts on the reins of power, I am under no illusions as to what my party is likely to do when it gets into power. I am well aware that it will, to a greate or lesser extent, disappoint me. On the otehr hand, I do already know that I am not totally in agreement with it about everything, and on that basis I think I can deal more easily than I could ten years ago.
