Snakes on a Plane

... is tosh. But it's actually pretty fun tosh, and we were laughing out loud more than once. It knows it isn't serious (Hell, with that kind of name, we're not going to be looking for a deep and meaningful treatment of the nature of life, are we?), and it's a bit gruesome in places. But the writers know what they're doing, and from the first to die (of course it's the couple having sex in the toilets - this is a horror film) through to landing the Jumbo at the end, they manage to balance the nasty bits with enough referential material - much of it gently skewed - that it worked for us.

It's a film that does exactly what it says on the tin, and we laughed our socks off.
